Fertilize
The optimal pH for asparagus is 5,8 to 7 ; It may be necessary to mix lime into the soil before planting.
Before planting, mulch and till evenly with the following amount (for 1 ha) :
• N: 100 kg
• P: 80 kg
• K: 100 kg
Fertilize every year for well-developed asparagus fields on 01 ha:
• N: 140 kg
• P: 100 kg
• K: 80 kg
• Mg: 140 kg
Magie (Mg) and Phosphorus (P) is best applied in early spring before harvest. Direct fertilization time protein (N) and kali (K) is after the harvest is completed. Use slow-release protein. Do not use organic fertilizer just before harvesting because it may affect the flavor of the asparagus. Always apply organic fertilizer before winter and mix it into the soil.
Most of the energy a plant produces is during the stem and leaf growth stage is stored in the root system. During the period the stem and leaf growth stage, plants produce carbohydrates through photosynthesis. So it's important to have healthy and well-developed leaf stems. Leaf stem development in the early stages and harvesting consumes the plant's energy. During the growth phase of the leaf stem, nutrients will go from the root to the plant to the leaf stem. This is called the upward flow of nutrients. When healthy and well-developed đã đến giai đoạn trưởng thành, nutrients are stored down to the roots. At this time the plant begins to store carbohydrates in the root system. The higher the carbohydrate level, the more energy is stored. In general, the plant needs at least three stems and about fourteen weeks of mature fern development. Exact timing of the stages depends on climatic conditions, weather, yield and growing method.
